Hello, my name is Jess and guess what? I love to read.
I have always loved reading and having a big sister who did English and French at university had its effect on me from a very early age. The first classic she had me reading was A Christmas Carol at the age of eight and I was hooked to the classics. It was not until I was in my twenties that I caught up on my children books, I read 101 Dalmatians whilst doing my masters, that got me some funny looks at university and commuting on the train.
On and off I’ve been writing reviews on Goodreads and just recently I’ve been really enjoying it and so I thought I would set up a blog as my escape from the real world and to try and do something non work related.
I have also recently opened a bookish themed Etsy store that sells mystery books that come with added treats, because who doesn’t like treats when reading?
So here it is, all my random thoughts and ramblings on books that I love and books that I’m not so keen on, oh and probably some other bits and pieces to, but I promise mainly books.
