I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have been doing really well with my reading this week and I have also discovered the app Bookly which has been really pushing my reading.

What I am Currently Reading

I’m still reading Warrior Queens and Quiet Revolutionaries but I am just dipping into it when I fancy reading some non-fiction. I have started Ithaca and really enjoying it so far.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I flew through The Hemlock Cure because I found it such a fantastic read. I really enjoyed The Mystery of the Blue Train here is the review.

What I Think I will Read Next

I really want to start my Christmas reading soon so I’m not entirely sure how long I will hold out before I start reading Christmas is Coming.

I hope everyone has been having a good week so far. I have had a very busy week so far so I am looking forward to my day off tomorrow. I have been very grateful for my bits of reading time I have managed so far this week.

What I am Currently Reading

I am thoroughly enjoying this book so far and find it so interesting. I have a list of women I want to do further research on and learn more about the amazing things they accomplished.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I really enjoyed this and plan on reading the rest of the books about Mrs Harris. Mrs Harris is a wonderful character who you can’t help but love.

What I Think I will Read Next

I have decided that my November TBR will be made up of the books I bought in Bath and I will see how many I manage to read before December. These are just some of the books I bought because the books from Persephone books are not included.

I have started on a reading high for November and this is mainly because I have so many lovely new books to read.

I am flying through this and I have nearly finished it. I absolutely love Mrs Harris she is such a good character.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I haven’t actually finished anything this week because the book I was reading I DNF’d. It is the first book this year I have DNF’d which is very good.

What I Think I will Read Next

These are some of my recent purchases and are books on my November TBR. I hope to manage to read some of them.

I really enjoyed these two books. The Flower Fairies is such a gorgeously illustrated book I absolutely loved it.

We are half way through the week and I hope it is going well for everyone so far.

I managed to finish my first book of October yesterday so that pleased me.

What I am Currently Reading

I have started reading this again after taking a little break because I wanted to read some nonfiction. I am really enjoying it so far, I really do enjoy Weir’s writing. It is very rare that I find myself craving nonfiction.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I picked this back up after a long break but this time I could not put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found it really interested.

What I Think I will Read Next

I’m really not sure what I will read next. I am quite tired a lot at the moment due to work so I’m craving easy and comforting reads.

I can’t quite believe that it is October already and since it has been October all I have wanted to do is read nonfiction. I am clearly a month ahead and I’m doing Nonfiction November early.

I picked this up again and so far I haven’t been able to put it down. I am finding it truly fascinating and I’m learning a lot.

I really enjoyed this and hope to read the rest of series soon.

I have so many books on my TBR but it is also my birthday later this month and I am hoping on getting some new books for my birthday.

My challenge of only reading books that are 300 pages or less in September has nearly come to end and I must admit I have really enjoyed it. It is good to see the TBR pile shrink this month.

I’m half way through this and really enjoying it so far.

I love a Maigret book and think this one is my favourite so far.

What I Think I will Read Next

October will be back to normal reading of anything I have on my TBR pile, but I am thinking I will do more reading themes in future months.

I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I was back at school today which has meant a very long day but I managed to get some reading done during my lunch break.

What I am Currently Reading

I am half way through this so far and really enjoying it. I do enjoy a Maigret book.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I started off really enjoying this but towards the end I did find it a bit wearing. The dialect at times could be a difficult and this just made the book feel harder work than it should have done.

What I Think I will Read Next

I’m hoping to read a few more of my short books before the end of September. I must admit setting myself the challenge of only reading books that are 300 pages or less has really made a difference to my TBR pile.
