Mid Week Quote: Earl Nightingale

Happy Wednesday!

We are half way through the week! I am busy researching and writing an assignment which is sadly digging into my reading time but hopefully I will complete it soon.

The quote this week is from Earl Nightingale (1921-1989) who was an American radio speaker and author.

Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.

Mid Week Quote: Cicero

Happy Wednesday.

As I am doing so much studying into the Ancient Romans at the moment I have chosen a quote by Cicero (106-43 BCE). Cicero was a Roman statesman, lawyer and scholar who wrote extensively about philosophy, rhetoric and politics.

A home without books is a body without a soul.

Cicero

Happy Reading.

Mid Week Quote: James Herriot

Hello!

I hope everyone is doing well. We are in Lockdown number 3 so I thought today’s quote would be one attached to a cute picture of our cat Lyra. Lyra has taken to squeezing between my husband and myself on the sofa and finds this her absolute favourite spot at the moment so I have gone for a related quote.

Cats are connoisseurs of comfort.

James Herriot

Happy reading and stay safe.

Mid Week Quote: Tom Baker

Hello!

I can’t believe it is Christmas on Friday. I am sticking with my Christmas theme for my mid week quotes and this week’s is by Tom Baker. I love this quote because so many of the ornaments on our Christmas tree have special memories attached.

Some Christmas tree ornaments do more than glitter and glow, they represent a gift of love given a long time ago.
