Hello!
It is quote time! My quote today is by the Scottish novelist, poet and Christian Minister George MacDonald.
“Work is not always required of a man. There is such a thing as sacred idleness.”

Hello!
Yesterday was Terry Pratchett’s birthday so I decided that a Terry Pratchett quote was required. Pratchett is one of my favourite authors, I have read all of his Discworld books and many others. I used to eagerly await the latest publication and have the book preordered to either be delivered or picked up. In 2013 I read all the current published Discworld novels in publication order and loved every minute, it also helped me get through a particularly brutal Jury Duty case. So here is the quote…

Hello everyone
Here is my chosen quote for today, which is attributed to Katharine Hepburn.
Katharine Hepburn (1991)

Hello!
I hope this post finds you all well.
The quote I have chosen for today is by Helen Keller. Some of you might remember a poem by Rachel Rooney that I posted recently which was about this amazing woman Helen Keller, so I decided to choose a quote to share with you all. The poem is here.
At nineteen months of age Keller became deaf and blind but with aid of her teacher and family she learned to read, write and speak. At the age of twenty-four, she became the first deaf and blind person to receive a bachelor’s degree. Keller wrote a dozen books and many articles, she was also a world renowned public speaker, activist and advocate for people with disabilities.
Keller really was an incredible woman.
Helen Keller (1940)

Hello everyone and a massive Hello and welcome to all my new followers! I really hope you enjoy my posts.

The quote today is attributed to Robert Hughes who is an Australian art critic, writer and documentary writer.

Happy reading everyone.

Hello!
I hope everyone is well and safe. I have been slogging away on my two essays and will be handing them in later today, fingers crossed I will have done ok. After hand in I will be rewarding myself with some serious reading.
This week’s quote is by Stephen King who is a huge reader and owns a massive library of his own. I must admit I am quite jealous of the sheer amount of books he supposedly owns. I love this quote and think it is very apt for our current situation.
Stephen King (2007)
Happy Wednesday.
Happy reading and stay safe everyone.

Hello!
I hope this post finds everyone well and safe. I must admit I am finding it very strange not working. I am reading more and studying so I am trying to fill my days productively.
So here is my chosen quote but I will just mention that this quote is only attributed to Isaac Newton.

My chosen quote today I happen to agree with a lot, because if we do not live life how do we get ideas and learn new things?

Happy Wednesday!
I have been enjoying the bits of sunshine we have been having and am looking forward to the lighter evenings. I have especially been enjoying going for a walk and seeing the little lambs skipping around.
Anyway here is my quote.
