I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. I haven’t managed much reading today but I have managed a lovely walk and got a few jobs complete around the house.
I have recently finished book two of Her Majesty Investigates series and wanted to move on to book three but discovered that I owned book four but not book three. This obviously meant a little book shopping and as I had a few books to preorder I thought I would add it to the order.
Only one book bought this week.
I’m hoping to read this book in February as I can’t wait to get reading the series again.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. I have had a busy day playing for a wedding and prepping music for harvest festival tomorrow.
I had a preordered book arrive this week. I will be honest I ordered this book because it looked really pretty and I love Christmas themed books.
I can’t wait to read it and look at the beautiful illustrations over Christmas.

I have only bought one book this week and it was a book that I had preordered so it was a nice surprise when it arrived.
I started the Joubert Family Chronicles whilst on holiday last year and really enjoyed the books so I am looking forward to continuing with the series.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. This week I visited the second hand bookshop at Attingham Park and I came away with a book that is brand new and clearly never read. New books at a second hand bookshop is always a favourite find.
I’ve got a few Jo Nesbo books dotted around the house but I still haven’t read many of his books. This one looks really good so hopefully I will read it soon.
