I got bored with The Pillars of the Earth quite quickly and DNF’d it. My husband really enjoys Ken Follet but I don’t find the characters engaging.

  I’m so pleased I’m not the only one. I got half way through and just thought life is too short and gave up. First book I have DNF’d this year.

    I got halfway too. I kept telling myself that I really ought to be enjoying it but then realised that it was never going to kick in so gave up 😀
