Hello!
I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I am having another busy week and don’t even get my day off tomorrow but hopefully I will get some reading time in this week.

Sadly, nothing has been finished this week.
What I Think I will Read Next
It isn’t looking good for my plan to read loads of books off this list this month as I just seem to be too tired all the time.
Please drop me a comment with your WWW Wednesday and I will head over for a visit.
I love this weeks topic because I do like a book set in the future as generally they are Sci-fi books and I love Sci-fi.
Worst Martian Playlist by Corriea Garrett– I read this book in one sitting and I absolutely loved it. In fact I now want to reread it. It was a random find for me from a post I saw on a fellow bloggers site and I am so glad I found it.
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir – Andy Weir is definitely one of my favourite authors and I just find his books keep getting better and better. I love the characters he creates.
Leviathan Wakes by James S. A. Corey– I include all of The Expanse series here because I just love the series. It is probably my favourite Sci-fi series.
The Martian by Andy Weir – I love this Book!
The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex – I saw the film of this first and loved it and for our first Easter together my husband bought me the book to read.
I could have chosen a lot more books but I went for my favourites. What are your favourite books that are set in the future?

Hello!
I hope everyone has had a good start to the week. I have had a mixed day of teaching and running choir club. Some students were very hyper and difficult to work with today and some were brilliant. The really good thing was the reading I managed to do during my lunch break and between teaching.
My chosen book today has been on my TBR for a long time but it is one I also swear that I have read. However, my reading records which are quite extensive and started whilst I was a child would show that I haven’t actually read it. To me it is a mystery. Either way I plan to read it very soon.
“We agree that we are overworked, and need a rest – A week on the rolling deep? – George suggests the river -“
And with the co-operation of several hampers of food and a covered boat, the three men (not forgetting the dog) set out on a hilarious voyage of mishaps up the Thames. When not falling in the river and getting lost in Hampton Court Maze, Jerome K. Jerome finds time to express his ideas on the world around – many of which have acquired a deeper fascination since the day at the end of the 19th century when this excursion was so lightly undertaken.

Hello!
We are half way through the week and I hope it is going well for everyone so far.
I managed to finish my first book of October yesterday so that pleased me.
What I am Currently Reading
I have started reading this again after taking a little break because I wanted to read some nonfiction. I am really enjoying it so far, I really do enjoy Weir’s writing. It is very rare that I find myself craving nonfiction.
What I have Recently Finished Reading
I picked this back up after a long break but this time I could not put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found it really interested.
What I Think I will Read Next
I’m really not sure what I will read next. I am quite tired a lot at the moment due to work so I’m craving easy and comforting reads.
Please drop me a comment with your WWW Wednesday and I will head over for a visit.

Hello!
I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I was back at school today which has meant a very long day but I managed to get some reading done during my lunch break.
What I am Currently Reading
I am half way through this so far and really enjoying it. I do enjoy a Maigret book.
What I have Recently Finished Reading
I started off really enjoying this but towards the end I did find it a bit wearing. The dialect at times could be a difficult and this just made the book feel harder work than it should have done.
What I Think I will Read Next
I’m hoping to read a few more of my short books before the end of September. I must admit setting myself the challenge of only reading books that are 300 pages or less has really made a difference to my TBR pile.

Hello!
I hope everyone has had a good start to the week so far. I have gone for another book off my Classics Club list because they are all on my vast Goodreads TBR.
Alongside Edgar Allan Poe in America, Britain’s Wilkie Collins stands as the inventor of the modern detective story. The Moonstone introduces all the ingredients: a homey, English country setting, and a colorfully exotic background in colonial India; the theft of a fabulous diamond from the lovely heroine; a bloody murder and a tragic suicide; a poor hero in love with the heroine but suspected of the crime, who can’t remember anything about the night the jewel was stolen; assorted friends, relatives, servants, a lawyer, a doctor, a sea captain—suspects, all; and, most essentially, a bumbling local policeman and a brilliant if eccentric London detective. Adding spice to the recipe are unexpected twists, a bit of dark satire, a dash of social comment, and an unusual but effective narrative structure—eleven different voices relate parts of the tale, each revealing as much about himself (and, in one case, herself) as about the mystery of the missing Moonstone.
Filled with suspense, action, and romance, The Moonstone is as riveting and intoxicating today as it was when it first appeared more than a century ago.
I read The New Magdalen by Wilkie Collins recently and I could not put it down, so I am quite excited to read this soon, as I just love Wilkie Collins.
Have you got a favourite Wilkie Collins book?

Hello
I hope everyone is having a good week so far. Reading is still going well so far this month so I am hoping to make a serious dent in my TBR pile and Goodreads Challenge.
What I am Currently Reading
I started this yesterday and so far I am really enjoying it.
What I have Recently Finished Reading
I can’t quite believe I managed to finish three books in a week but reading shorter books is really helping my pace.
What I Think I will Read Next
Hopefully I will start reading one of these this week.

Hello!
I hope all my fellow Book Dragons are well and having a good week so far.
What I am Currently Reading
I started this today and I am flying through it. I have only read one Barbara Taylor Bradford before but really enjoyed it and I am enjoying this one so far.
What I have Recently Finished Reading
I finished this today and could not put it down. I enjoyed this book a lot more than when I read it in 2014. I can’t wait to read the next one!
What I Think I will Read Next
I really want to read book four of The Wheel of Time series but I know that I if I go straight into it without a little break I might go into a reading slump as I am never good going straight through a series.

Hello!
Happy Monday!
I hope everyone has had a good start to the week. I have had a lovely day off because it has been a bank holiday today.
My chosen book today is by a new author for me but one I have always planned on reading. Anthony Trollope wrote a great many books but I have gone for one of his more popular books.
At first savagely reviewed, The Way We Live Now (1875) has since emerged as Trollope’s masterpiece and the most admired of his works. When Trollope returned to England from the colonies in 1872 he was horrified by the immorality and dishonesty he found. In a fever of indignation he sat down to write The Way We Live Now, his longest novel. Nothing escaped the satirist’s whip: politics, finance, the aristocracy, the literary world, gambling, sex, and much else. In this world of bribes and vendettas, swindling and suicide, in which heiresses are won like gambling stakes, Trollope’s characters embody all the vices: Lady Carbury, a 43-year-old coquette, ‘false from head to foot’; her son Felix, with the ‘instincts of a horse, not approaching the higher sympathies of a dog’; and Melmotte, the colossal figure who dominates the book, a ‘horrid, big, rich scoundrel … a bloated swindler … a vile city ruffian’.

Hello! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have been busy teaching and reading but I have some adventures planned for tomorrow that I am looking forward to.
What I am Currently Reading
I am still really enjoying this book but I must admit I want more Perrin as his storyline is my favourite.
What I have Recently Finished Reading
I took a little break from The Dragon Reborn this read because I needed a nice short read. When reading a large book I quite often like a little break with a short read.
What I Think I will Read Next
As usual I am never sure what I will read next but I might choose one of these.
