I hope everyone is well and having a good week so far. I have really managed to push forward on my reading this week but I’m still running behind on my book reviews sadly.

What I am Currently Reading

I started this a couple of days ago and so far I am really enjoying it. I love Haynes’ portrayal of Zeus because it is how I have always imagined him.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I have finally finished it! If I hadn’t been so distracted by other things I would have soon had this book finished but sadly my focus just wasn’t there until this week.

I’m aiming for shorter books for the rest of this month because I hope to make headway with The Count of Monte Cristo as well.

I hope everyone is having a good week so far. My week has been rather busy so far but I am still managing some reading. I had an exciting delivery of crafting supplies today so I am hoping to take some time to do crafting during half term.

I am absolutely loving The Count of Monte Cristo but I must be honest I am not getting very well with The Pilgrim’s Progress.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I flew through The Last Remains and if I hadn’t had to do this thing called work I would have probably read it in one day. My review for The Woman Who Would Be King is here.

I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have had rather a trying day at school today so I am looking forward to curling up with my book later.

What I am Currently Reading

I have fallen a bit behind with my aim of reading a chapter of this a day so today during my lunch break I made an effort to try and catch up and I am really enjoying reading it. I think I will stick to reading just this book for a few days and see how it goes.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I finished this book this morning and I must admit I am quite pleased I finished it as I found this a really hard slog of a read.

What I Think I will Read Next

I am trying to be more structured with my reading this year so I am trying to keep up with my planned reads each month but also allowing myself some mood reads as well. I plan to read The Woman Who Would Be King as my nonfiction book this month.

I read this at the weekend as I quite fancied a short read. It was quite a strange book but fun and I found it amusing in places.

I have so many books to read that I am never sure what to read next. It all depends what mood I am in, the curse of being a mood reader.

Welcome to my first WWW Wednesday of 2023. I have had a lovely day today doing lots of crafting and it has been so relaxing. All my crafting projects (well the ones that work) are going on to my Etsy site.

What I am Currently Reading

I started reading a chapter a day of these two books from New Year’s Day and I have really been enjoying both books. I will probably start to read more of The Count of Monte Cristo once I have finished Aeneid.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I absolutely loved The Box of Delights and I have ordered The Midnight Folk to read next.

What I Think I will Read Next

I have so many books that I want to read at the moment I am finding it difficult to choose as I just want to read them all at the same time. I might have to start a TBR jar and pick a book at random.

Is everyone ready for Christmas yet? I am still nowhere near ready for Christmas but hopefully I will get there soon. One thing I do know is that I won’t be able to read as many books as I usually do in December this year.

What I am Currently Reading

I just started the poems today and so far so good. Yes I am still plodding along with the Kate Mosse and I am determined to finish it before the New Year.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

The Penguin Book of Christmas Stories wasn’t really a finish because once I got to page 136 the book started again at page 89. I was really frustrated and upset about this as I was really enjoying the book but sadly I am unable to finish it. I did ask Penguin about this on Twitter but they chose to ignore my tweet, oh well. I finished Murder in the Falling Snow this morning and I really enjoyed it. I really enjoy these books and I always make sure I buy the new one each year.

What I Think I will Read Next

I really don’t have a clue what I will read next. To be honest it all depends on my mood.

I hope everyone is having a good week so far. Our December is not going quite to plan so far. We have had lock problems, car problems and problems with the house. We are hoping our luck will change soon. I have finally started my festive reading but it is looking less and less likely that I will get many festive reads complete this month.

I am really enjoying this so far. Some of the stories I have read before but others I have never come across which is really nice and I also really love the variety.

My chosen book this week is one that I have started in the past but never finished but I would really like to finish the book.
