I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have been busy teaching and reading but I have some adventures planned for tomorrow that I am looking forward to.

What I am Currently Reading

I am still really enjoying this book but I must admit I want more Perrin as his storyline is my favourite.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I took a little break from The Dragon Reborn this read because I needed a nice short read. When reading a large book I quite often like a little break with a short read.

What I Think I will Read Next

As usual I am never sure what I will read next but I might choose one of these.

I last read this in 2014 but I had forgotten how good this book was. I have not put it down since I started it and think it is the best of the series so far.

I love this series so far and this book did not disappoint.

As usual I am never sure what I will read next but I might choose one of these.

I absolutely loved this book. Every book I read by George Eliot I fall more and more in love with her writing.

I hope this post finds all my fellow book Dragons well. My reading has slowed down a little this week because I have been going on some adventures.

I am really enjoying this book so far. I have just started the third and final story of the book and I am hoping it is as good as the first two.

I think my next read will be Rogue Protocol because I am really missing the story. Still leaning towards smaller reads at the moment.

I haven’t taken part in WWW Wednesday for a while because I was stuck trying to finish Dombey and Son. However, whilst away on holiday last week I managed to finish 3 books and this week I have been stuck at home with Covid so I have been doing a lot of reading.

What I am Currently Reading

This is my first Agatha Christie of the year but I thought it was time to get back into my Agatha Christie challenge.

What I have Recently Finished Reading

I don’t think I have ever read so many books within a week but they are all rather small books so didn’t take long to read. Just got to write up all the reviews now.

What I Think I will Read Next

I’m really not sure what I will read next. I seem to be in the mood for smaller books at the moment so maybe nothing too big.

Hello everyone!

This weeks choice of book is from my Christmas TBR pile again. The Christmas TBR has also grown by three books so it looks like I will have a busy December.

It is late 1940 and the war feels closer to home than ever for Rose Neville and her staff at the Lyon’s Teashop in Margate. The light in Rose’s life is her dashing fiancé Capt. Ben Hargreaves and planning their Christmas Eve wedding. But she must also plan to take two new step-daughters into her life and get on the right side of her wealthy mother-in-law, Lady Diana. Is Rose ready to become a mother so soon?

When Rose’s half-sister Eileen makes contact, it seems that Rose’s dreams of having a sibling are coming true at long last. But her friends begin to suspect that something is not right between Eileen and her husband: just what are they hiding?

I read another book by Elaine Everest last Christmas and really enjoyed it so I am hoping for an enjoyable read with this book as well.

I haven’t read any Jeffrey Archer for a couple of years and I have forgotten just how much I enjoy his writing. SPQR is coming along, slow and steady is how I am reading it.

I hope everyone has had a good start to the week. I have had a gentle start with just a little bit of teaching so I have spent the rest of the day tidying and binning things. I’m not sure you can see any difference yet but hopefully I will make more headway tomorrow.

The book I have chosen for Goodreads Monday is one that is sat on my Christmas TBR pile and is one that I am planning on buddy reading with my best friend.
