Hello! I hope everyone has had a good week so far. I have had a busy few days teaching and working on my Etsy so tomorrow I am looking forward to an adventure day.
What I am Currently Reading
I am still reading The Cicero Trilogy but I am very close to finishing. I will really miss this book as I absolutely love it but I am looking forward to reading something else as I have been reading this for quite a while now.
What I have Recently Finished Reading
I took a little break to read this book as I had been sent a copy by the author. Review will follow shortly.
What I Think I will Read Next
I am so behind with my book challenges so I think I will need to start reading some shorter books to try and catch up. Hopefully I will manage to catch up.

I hope everyone has had a good start to the week. I have done some teaching and chores today but I have also managed some reading and a nice walk. I have also spent a lovely evening making some more Halloween bookmarks for my Etsy shop.
My chosen book today is a new release and one by one of my favourite authors. I really want to read this soon but first I need to go book shopping!

I have been going through my vast TBR again and have found another book that I would love to read but forgot about. I’m really intrigued by this book and would love to read it.

How is it the end of July already? This month seems to have flown by and it is scary.
I have been going through my vast Goodreads TBR and there are so many books on there that I added years and years ago that I still want to read so I think it is time to bring them to the front of the list again. So here is a book that I added way back in 2018.
Nefertiti and her younger sister, Mutnodjmet, have been raised in a powerful family that has provided wives to the rulers of Egypt for centuries. My chosen book this week is one that I have been wanting to read for a very long time and I really hope I get to read it soon.

Lessons by Ian McEwan – This is my first McEwan novel but I am really enjoying it so far.
The Burning Chambers by Kate Mosse – I love Kate Mosse and I thought it was high time I read The Joubert Chronicles.
The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow – I have been wanting to read this book for quite a long time now so I decided to get it for this holiday.
The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods – Another one that I have been wanting to read for quite a long time.

I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have had rather a stressful day at school and to be honest I am very glad I now have the summer holidays. I have a workshop to do tomorrow morning and then it is no school and I can’t wait.

I started Babel this week and so far I am thoroughly enjoying it. Cicero is still being read but it I am still making steady progress.

I managed to finish two books this week even if they are only small books I am happy with the fact that I managed to finish two.
