What I am Currently Reading

Just started this today and only 24 pages in as I have read it in gaps between teaching as all my spare time has been used wrestling with an essay, but so far I am really enjoying it. It took me a bit to get used to Kidd’s writing style as she is very descriptive but I’m hooked!

What I have Recently Finished Reading

Loved this and found it highly amusing. Review will follow shortly.

What I think I will Read Next

There are so many books I want to read at the moment and so many I have on my wish list. I just don’t know what to read next!

I had a lovely surprise this week from my husband who had very kindly bought me books 3, 4, 5 and 6 of The Expanse series as a present. I am so excited to get reading book 3 as I am absolutely loving the series.

I hope everyone’s 2021 has got off to a good start. I am reading two books that I absolutely love and can’t put down which is always good.

So here are my posts from this week.

Currently Reading

Love these two books so much. Dissolution is my buddy read so I am holding back from blitzing it which I could easily do as I am enjoying so much. Leviathan Wakes is excellent and I think I will be reading the next in the series straight away and I hope it will be as good.

Books Acquired

No new books this week as I am restraining myself and trying to reduce my TBR pile slightly. I do plan on doing some preordering though as I always like a surprise book in the post occassionally.

I hope everyone has had a good weekend so far. I had a lovely morning playing the organ for a church service and I got to play a few Christmas songs as well. It was very cold but it was so nice to have a bit of normality back.

A New Page

Firstly, welcome and thank you everyone for the new follows. I hope you will enjoy reading my blog and please feel free to comment and talk about any of the books I talk about on the blog.

Some of you may have noticed a new page on the menu called Currently Reading. This page I have recently added so anybody who is interested can see what books I am currently reading and know that a review for these books will hopefully be appearing soon.

I am hoping this new page will also give me a little kick up the behind when I get a little slack with my reading.
